Three members of land mafia killed gym trainer, juvenile apprehended

New Delhi: Five days after the murder of Tik Tok sensation and Gym Trainer Mohit Mor in Dwarka's Najafgarh, Delhi police has connected the dots between Mohit's murder and the Dwarka gang war that left two dead.

Cops believe that these murders were a part of Land Mafias rivalry. Special Cell on Friday apprehended a juvenile for the murder.

He along with two other members of Jyoti Sangwan-Kapil Sangwan gang alias Nandu gang pumped 13 bullets in Mohit who was sitting at the sofa of a photocopy shop on Sunday evening. Mohit died on the spot.

The juvenile told the Special Cell of Delhi Police that in April, he visited Sandeep Pahalwan a gangster and offered him to join the gang. However, he also asked him to try and test him in any criminal act to trust his criminal capabilities.

Though he did not get any immediate assignment but on May 21 he got a video call from the gangster Sandeep Pahalwan asking him to come to a particular place in Najafgarh. When he reached there, he was given a pistol. Two other gangsters Vikas and Rohit were already present there who were given weapons too along with the whereabouts of Mohit Mor.

It was then these three assailants went to the market in Najafgarh where Mohit was present inside a Photocopy shop. He was gunned down there by these three assailants who fled after the shootout.

"The motive behind was that Mangu (killed earlier), had invested about 30 Lakhs in a plot of land in Mohan Garden through deceased Mohit. After Mangu's murder, Mohit did not return that amount to Mangu's friends and instead took protection from Manjeet Mahal gang through Pradeep Solanki and VikasDalal. After the murder of VikasDalal (killed in Uttam Nagar shootout case), Mangu's friends again demanded money from Mohit, to which he again refused. It was due to this reason that Sandeep alias Pahalwan got murdered Mohit through Vikas, Rohit and a juvenile," said DCP Special Cell, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
