Three foreign nationals held for smuggling liquid cocaine

NEW DELHI: Criminals and drugs syndicates around the world are getting more and more innovative to dodge intelligence agencies while smuggling contraband.
The latest in this field is smuggling of liquid cocaine filled in condoms and cleanly packed in boxes with a Brazilian label to dodge investigators.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) encountered this new tactics by drug mafias when they arrested two Brazilian nationals with the liquid cocaine.
"We were getting inputs that two foreign nationals suspected to be having cocaine are staying in a guest house located in Paharganj. Our teams kept continuous surveillance of the area.
"On checking the baggage of the suspects, 4 tin containers marked as "Quintanda Morungaba AMEI XAEM CALDA" were found. Our teams were surprised to see what was inside," said Madho Singh, Zonal Director, NCB.
