Three contract killers wanted in multiple cases arrested

Gautam Budh Nagar police, on Saturday evening, arrested three contract killers from Greater Noida wanted in several cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery and extortion.
The arrested persons, identified as Anil alias Pena, Arun alias Chanki and Pradeep Baisoya, were found accused in the murder of Brijeshwar Tyagi, the father of a village head Lalit Tyagi, in March.
All the accused hail from various areas of Ghaziabad and two country-made .32mm pistols, six cases of live ammunition, three magazines, three sharp knives and two stolen motorcycles have been recovered from their possession.
A case as per relevant sections of the IPC was registered against them at Tronic City police station of Ghaziabad district.
"Investigation revealed that they murdered Tyagi on a contract of Rs 5,00,000," said a police official.
"Acting on a tip-off, a team from Surajpur police station arrested all the three men on Saturday evening from 130m road near village Dewla in Greater Noida. Around 33 cases of murder, attempt to murder, extortion and robbery are registered against them in different police stations of Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar districts," said Manish Saxena, SHO, Surajpur police station.
"The leader of the gang is Anil. Around 24 cases have been registered against him alone in various police stations of the two districts. He was the main accused in Tyagi's murder. They have revealed that they used to steal motorcycles from various areas of the two districts and, after changing their number plates, used those motorcycles to commit the crime," added Saxena.
