Three commit suicide in Capital

New Delhi: Three suicides were reported from three different parts of east Delhi in the last 48 hours. No suicide notes have been recovered from the possession of any of the deceased persons.

According to police, the first incident was reported from Welcome, where a 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her room when her parents were away for work. The second incident was reported from Khajuri Khas where a man named Irfan allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.

The third incident was reported from Bhajanpura, where a man committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree outside his house. He lived with his wife and two sons at their rented house. Police said that no suicide notes were found in any of the incidents but suspect that all of them took the extreme step due to depression.
