Three arrested for stabbing security guard

The Delhi Police arrested three snatchers who never hesitated in stabbing their target if offered resistance from them. The three accused stabbed a man after dragging him out of the bus in Sangam Vihar.

On April 11, a security guard was dragged outside a bus after he gave resistance to three snatchers who tried to loot him. Following this, the three criminals dragged the man outside the bus and stabbed him on the left side of his stomach. They soon fled the spot.

The cops formed several teams to nab the accused who have caused nuisance in DTC buses and also on roads in South-EAST Delhi. After this, the police succeeded in arresting Mohit who led to the arrest of the other two Sanjay and Vasu. The gang mostly operated in the areas of Sangam Vihar, Govindpuri and Pul Prahladpur in South East district where they mostly targeted passengers of buses.

"The accused have confessed in the investigation that they carried button knife, which has been recovered," said Romil Baaniya, DCP South East.
