Stab wound fails to deter brave constable's quest to nab criminals

Acting on a tip-off, constable Jitender, rolled out actions to nab the snatchers coming on a scooty in Patel Nagar in Central Delhi.

As soon as the scooty with three snatchers came, Jitendra obstructed its way by making the two-wheeler lose its balance.

The three miscreants tried to scare him but the 28-year-old cop was hard to resist.

Realizing this fact, one of the three snatchers took out a knife and stabbed Jitender on his back.

Jitender who was bleeding profusely did not let one of them flee the spot.

The feud left the brave cop badly injured but he succeeded in nabbing the criminal.

Soon, the reinforcement arrived and the criminal was arrested. Jitender who hails from Rajasthan was

immediately rushed to the hospital.

"Jitender has been badly injured. He is undergoing treatment and in presently in ICU. We are proud of such brave policeman," said a senior police officer.
