Special team to keep tabs on passengers alighting from wrong side of train
New Delhi: The Northern Railways has formed a special team under RPF Inspector of Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station Kishan Kumar to keep an eye on passengers alighting from the wrong side of the train when they arrive or depart.
The decision comes after an analysis of laptop and mobile lifting incidents showed that such offenders often deboard from the wrong side of the train to avoid being caught.
This pattern was noticed after reviewing CCTV footage of these incidents. In fact, such teams are already being effective.
