Slain MNC professional's family in shock, no arrests yet

Gurugram: The gruesome murder of 53-year-old senior MNC professional has not only shocked his employees but also drowned his family in grief.
Expressing his pain, the distraught father kept on repeating the words why he was kept alive if he had to see his son's dead body and said his (son) relationship was not that acrimonious with any one and it was hard to believe that he was killed in this manner.
The senior professional, identified as Ramesh Kumar Vij, working in a Multinational Company, was stabbed brutally by unknown people.
He was deputed as an executive director in Nagata India private limited and was its plant head in Manesar.
The incident occurred on a day when it was his daughter's birthday.
According to police, the incident occurred after he returned home from his office on Wednesday evening around 8 pm. After having dinner, he decided to withdraw some money from the nearby ATM.
However, as he ventured out towards his Toyota Corolla car, two unknown persons dragged him forcibly into his car and forced him to drive few kilometres away from his residence which was in Sector-5.
After reaching Dhanwapur road in Sector-4, one of the assailants who was sitting on the rear seat, pulled the victim and stabbed him multiple times till he was dead.
There have been no arrests made by the police as of now.
