Six factories in Gzb sealed for flouting norms

GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad district administration on Wednesday sealed six illegal factories in Khora area of Ghaziabad found to have been flouting National Green Tribunal (NGT) norms.
"All these six factories were helmet manufacturing units. The factories were causing excessive air and water pollution and were running on domestic electricity connection even after undergoing commercial processes. The waste coming out of these factories was causing havoc for people living in the locality and the waste coming out of these factories was contaminating air and water badly" said K K Bhadhana, Executive officer, Ghaziabad.
