Silver jubilee edition of Delhi Book Fair from Sept 11 to 15

NEW DELHI: India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is holding its annual popular event namely the Silver jubilee edition of Delhi Book Fair in Hall No.7, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from September 11-15, 2019.

The event is being organized in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP). The Stationery Fair, 5th Office Automation Fair and Corporate Gift Fair along with various promotional programmes will be among the major attractions during this event.

Visitor entry to the event will be free and allowed from 10.00am to 7.00pm from Gate No.1(Bhairo Mandir side) and 10 (Metro Station side).

School buses carrying students will be allowed to enter from Gate 1 and will go back to Bhairon Road parking.

Organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation, this year will mark 25 years for the book fair and 21 for the stationery counterpart.

The motto of the fair is to emphasise the significance of the written word and promote literacy and the habit of reading. Additionally, it is also an open platform for business to business transactions.

It also gives an opportunity to readers to interact with authors via discussions and organising interaction sessions. Book readers do make it a point to visit this fair not just from Delhi but from other states too.Overall, the fair is an avenue for businesses and individuals to network and connect better with each other.
