Shootout in Jahangirpuri: Man chased, shot at

New Delhi: A few days after the bloody gang war in Dwarka, another incident was caught on camera where criminals can be seen chasing and then shooting a man in North West Delhi's Mahindra Park's Jahangirpuri. The police has however denied that it has any links with any gangwar.

The incident was captured in CCTV footage which showed six men chasing a man and firing indiscriminately. The shocking video shows the victim running to save his life and entering his house while a woman and a kid also are seen taking cover for safety.

The victim managed to enter a house but the criminals did not stop there and multiple rounds of bullets were fired on the house.

The criminals were unaffected by the presence of locals in the narrow lane, including women and children, and kept on firing relentlessly to kill their target. It was also seen that the people did try to offer some resistance and dropped bricks from the buildings but the criminals scared them away by firing in the air.

"The bullet grazed the victim and we have registered a case under section 326 of IPC (causing grievous hurt) and are looking for the accused. It is not a gang war rather this seems to be an ongoing enimity between the victim and the attackers. We have identified the accused and have frmed teams to arrest them," said DCP North West Vijayanta Arya.

The man who was shot at, has been identified as Naresh. He was shot at by six gangsters inside his house in Mahendra Park area of Jahangirpuri.
