Seven shanties gutted in Geeta Colony, no casualties

New Delhi: A fire broke out in seven shanties in Geeta Colony area of Shahdara on Thursday morning, said the Delhi Fire Services (DFS). No casualty was reported.
According to a fire
official, the incident came to light when they received a call around 8 am about a cylinder catching fire in one of the shanties.
Ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused by 8.25 am, he added. "The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. But it was brought under control soon. No casualty occurred," said a fire department official.
