Seven held for gangraping three women at Noida farm house

Noida: Gautam Buddh Nagar police have arrested seven persons for gangraping three women at a farm house in Yamuna Khadar in sector 135 of Noida. Cops said that the women were brought from Delhi to a party farm house in Noida Expressway area by nine youths who later gangraped them.

According to police, the farmhouse was owned by a senior officer in the department of road transportation in Delhi. The arrested persons were identified as Lavkesh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Bhola Yadav, Anjan Yadav, Rajesh Yadav, all natives of Raebarelli district of Uttar Pradesh, Satish Pal from Hardoi and Rajkumar Maurya of Shahjahanpur.

Vaibhav Krishna, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar told reporters that two of the accused persons hired an Ola cab to pick girls for a party at farmhouse on Tuesday night from Delhi.

"All the three women were brought to the farmhouse for a party by two of the arrested persons. Later they called their seven more friends and all the nine persons took turns to rape the three women. The accused persons also snatched their money and left them at a secluded spot near Pushta Road in sector 135 of Noida on early Wednesday morning," said Krishna.

The officer further said that one of the three women called police on Wednesday morning and informed about the incident.

"Police received information from one of the three women, who narrated their ordeal and a case under section 376 D (punishment for gang rape) and 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) was lodged against all the accused persons. We have arrested seven of them while two are still on run. Meanwhile, police have also sealed the farmhouse under section 102 CrPc while further investigations into the case are underway," added Krishna.

The farm house is located in the same area where police had busted a rave party earlier in May and arrested 192 persons including 161 boys and 31 girls.
