Separate road accidents leave several injured

Three separate road accidents took place at Outer Ring Road area on Sunday, though none of them resulted in casualties.
In the first accident, a truck, on its way to Peeragarhi, hit a Santro car from behind near Mukarba Chowk, injuring a man and a woman seating in the front of the car.
Eyewitnesses said the truck pushed the car from Rohini Court all the way to Shiv Market.
The police and fire services rescued the couple after almost an hour by cutting into different parts of the car, and admitted them to Mahavir Hospital.
The couple has been identified as residents of Rohini.
The apprehended truck driver had reportedly come from Punjab for a delivery.
The second accident took also took place near Mukarba Chowk, just a few metres from the spot of the first accident.
A dumper truck rammed into another stationary truck and injured three-four people in the process.
The driver of the offending truck, who has been nabbed, said that he inadvertently applied the brakes, after which he lost control and crashed into the stationary truck.
In the third accident in Mangolpuri, a Honda City rammed into a Maruti Eeco, injuring the drivers of both the cars.
The Maruti car reportedly flipped three-four, times before turning turtle.
The two injured have been shifted to a local hospital and police are looking into whether the accused driver was driving under influence.
