SDMC resolved 98% complaints filed via App
New Delhi: South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on Tuesday said that its effort to make the city more and cleaner with the help of the existing Swacchhata App mechanism has proved to be a big hit among the citizens as over 98 per cent complaints registered on App resolved.
The Corporation has further maintained that nine types of complaints are being resolved within 24 hours.
SDMC Commissioner Dr Puneet Kumar Goel said, "We can achieve wonderful results with the maximum usage of the App and make our city cleanest in comparison to other mega cities by promoting Swachhata App and properly educate our citizens to make use of the large number of dustbins placed in the markets and on road side as part of their primary duty to keep the city clean.
The Superintending engineer DEMS and nodal Officer for 'Swachh Bharat Mission', Rajiv Kumar Jain said the figures speak of the success of the App.
