School strikes off 39 students for non payment of fee

Gurugram: DPSG School which has been for long in controversy over the increased fee structure has now courted another controversy by striking the name of 39 students for non payment of fees in past two months.
The senior management of the school claimed that the students had already been warned that action would be taken on the non payment of the dues.
The child welfare committee (CWC) has also taken cognisance of the case.
Last year, the DPSG courted controversy by raising fee at an exorbitant rate. There were allegations that the increase was as exorbitant as 250 percent.
There were claims that the parents who used to pay around Rs 65,000 in amount annually had to pay an amount of Rs 1,65,000. The move by the school authorities resulted in hundreds of parents protesting against the school.
