Following this, all 18 coaches of the train will have upgraded interiors and exteriors and the amenities will give the passengers a more pleasant experience than ever before.
The "Swarn" coaches of Amritsar Swarn Shatabdi have been upgraded with improved exteriors of vinyl wrapping. Shelves have been fitted in the pantry area for better storage space. An anti-scratch film has been put on the luggage rack panel. LED lighting to improve illumination and GPS-enabled passenger announcement and information system have been fitted in the train.
