Rewari hospital firing: Siblings from Kaushal gang arrested

Gururgam: The Special Task Force constituted by Gurugram Police achieved a major breakthrough after it caught hold of two brothers who have been found to be the prime accused in a shooting incident in a Rewari hospital on October 16.

Police sources on Monday said the incident had occurred after a doctor at the hospital refused to pay extortion money to the accused siblings Saurav and Gaurav, both members of the notorious Kaushal gang.

The incident had caused massive panic at the hospital, as the shooting occurred during the busy day hours.

Law enforcement officials are now trying to ascertain the other criminal activities that the siblings are involved in.

Though leaders of many dreaded gangs in Gurugram are lodged in jail, their henchmen are carrying out nefarious activities at their behest, which is proving to be a major challenge for the police.

Traders and businessmen being targetted by goons has been a major law and order problem in the outskirts of Gurugram.

Many gangsters have also now started targetting suburbs of Gurugram, like Rewari. In the past few days, the Kaushal gang has emerged to be one of the deadliest groups involved in extortion. The leader of the gang is believed to be living in Thailand.
