Revenge killing: Dwarka property dealer had slapped main accused

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Thursday said that they have solved the murder case of a property dealer who was shot dead in Kakrola area. The investigating agency arrested one accused who claimed that he wanted to take revenge of a slap from the deceased. Police identified the accused as Nakul. He was nabbed near Goyla Dairy area on September 25. According to police on September 24, one Narender was shot dead. The manner of the murder as seen in video footage and associated details were suggesting that it was the outcome of some enmity.

DCP (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said that complainant of the case, Pradeep Dhaka was running a café at the top floor of the office of the deceased few months back and a quarrel had taken place with some boys of the area and one Nakul at the cafe. During the scuffle, Narender had beaten the boys and also slapped Nakul several times. Though the matter looked ended, Nakul kept a grudge against the deceased and had been seen around his office with some boys. Later the accused was arrested by the teams of the special staff and Dwarka north.

Alphonse said that Nakul was slapped by Narender. He nurtured a grudge against the deceased and planned for his murder. They attempted several times to murder the deceased but plan was dropped at last movements for 'optimum opportunity'. On September 24, Nakul and his associate came on a motorcycle masked with helmets and fired indiscriminately at the deceased, leading to his death.
