Respecting women part of India's tradition: Tiwari

NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari, at a programme 'Mahilaon Ka Samman - Desh Ka Samman' organised by the party in North West District, distributed sarees to women on the occasion of Ashtami Mahaparv.
Addressing women, local workers and residents of the area, Tiwari said, "In our society women, have a special status and respecting them is in accordance with the tradition of our country," adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously trying his best for the development of women and children.
Tiwari called upon the women present at the event, asking them to connect with BJP. He said they should become the voice of lakhs of women and apprise the party about their problems, so that BJP can fight for their honour at every level.
