Regularisation because of Centre: Tiwari

New Delhi: While Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the Central government had approved the state government's plan to regularise unauthorised colonies in the Capital, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari went on a criticising rampage, saying that CM Kejriwal's government had been the one hindering the process till now. In a Press conference, Tiwari congratulated Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for the announcement that the state government will begin registrations in 1797 unauthorized colonies soon.

The North-East Delhi MP said that the Kejriwal-led government had been stalling on their side. In fact, Tiwari claimed that when Puri had asked for a report on unauthorised colonies in the Capital, the Delhi government kept stalling until the Ministry formed a committee under Delhi's LG to recommend measures for regularising these colonies.

Tiwari added that the CM is just swooping-in to claim credit for this development victory, when "in fact, he has been the biggest hindrance to

these efforts".
