On Sunday night, an Uber cab driver and his friend were shot dead by armed assistants in Outer Delhi. The bullet-ridden bodies of both deceased were found lying along Nangloi-Najafgarh road on Sunday around 10 pm. Police is now searching for their third friend who is missing along with the bike they were travelling, making the matter more complicated.

The deceased have been identified as Deepak (21), a resident of Baprola, Ranhola and Neeraj Singh (21), a resident of Jal Vihar-phase-II in the same locality. Deepak was working as cab driver in Uber while Neeraj was unemployed. Earlier he was working as a delivery boy in Macdonald in Janakpuri, Delhi.

Some broken glasses of any vehicle on road and blood stains on divider have been found on the spot, police sources said.

Police is probing if there was any dispute of the deceased with anyone and is talking to the family members of two deceased men. Police teams are scanning the CCTV footage in and around the area to ensure the sequences of the incident and trying to get clues of assailants.
