Raghubir Nagar turns into a fortress

New Delhi: After Thursday's murder incident in a market in Khyala, west Delhi's Raghubir Nagar area was on Friday turned into a fortress, with heavy deployment of armed security forces and Delhi Police personnel near the house of the deceased youth and the accused, to avert any untoward incident.
"More than 40 security personnel of BSF are guarding the area," said an official of the Border Security Force (BSF), who has been deployed in front of the residence of the deceased youth.
Delhi Police personnel from different police stations, were also seen guarding the parks and the streets near the victim's house, in order to keep the situation calm.
Residents in Raghubir Nagar claimed that they do not harbour any hatred against any religion, but demanded strict action against members of the accused family.
A few blocks away from the house of the deceased is that of the accused family, with residents of the area saying they were shocked to know that their woman was in a relationship to the youth.
"We never thought that the family was involved in the murder. They had shifted her several months ago and we had never seen them aggressive," said a woman working in a tailor shop near the woman's house.
"I had never seen the girl talking to anyone. She used to be very quiet and reserved. She always left the house with her covered. The deceased youth was also very nice and helpful. One time, he had come to meet us. He was just like a good friend," said a shopkeeper adding, that he too was surprised when he came to know about their relationship.
Now, the house of the accused has been locked, while the residence of the deceased is flooded with mourners.
The victim's mother stated that she wants all the accused to be hanged till death.
Meanwhile, reports suggested that the deceased youth was a member of Hindu fringe outfit.
However, his relatives denied any such claim.
