Protests outside Ryan's Noida, Gr Noida branches

NOIDA/GREATER NOIDA: Concerned over the security of their children and demanding that the management answers their questions about the safety of students, scores of parents gathered outside three Ryan International schools across the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida on Monday morning.
At the Greater Noida's branch, located in Sector Beta-1, a group of parents gathered in front of the campus Monday morning. When their numbers started to increase, the school management locked the main gate so as to prevent them from entering the campus.
At the Ryan International School in Noida's Sector-39, heavy police force was deployed outside all three schools, as parents began creating ruckus and staged a protest after being denied permission to meet the school's principal.
However, after the police intervened, parents were allowed to meet the management, who assured them that their children will be safe inside and that security of the students will be the schools' top priority.
"All of us are mourning the death of the Gurugram student, who was brutally murdered inside the school campus. Now we are concerned over the security of our children, as the incident is a result of sheer negligence of the school management in the security of students. We demand the management beef up the security and ensure that our child is safe in the school," said one of the protesting parents.
