Property registration in Gautam Budhh Nagar now available online

Greater Noida: Now, residents of Gautam Budhh Nagar can get their residential or commercial property registered in Noida and Greater Noida in just five minutes, by filling the required forms online.
Akhilesh Dubey, Assistant Inspector General of the Stamps and Registration department of Gautam Budhh Nagar said, "Property registration in Noida and Greater Noida has got much easier with online registry of properties scheme. Now home buyers just need to visit the registrar office after filling the forms online and it will take few minutes for them to get their property registered. The facility is aimed to create transparency and reduce the problems that people face during the registry process."
As per the online registration of properties scheme, buyers will need to log in to igrsup.gov.in and click on the option of applying for registry of properties.
The website will guide users with steps to fill up the forms and submission of the required documents online.
All necessary information, such as name of the locality, developer, unit, and tower number will be mentioned there.
"After submitting the application, the documents will be verified at the sub-registrar's office and a call will be made to the buyer for completing the last stage formalities of the registration process. A buyer will then have to visit the registrar office where the last stage formalities will just take five minutes," added Dubey.
He also issued his personal contact number for users, in case they face any inconvenience during the registration process.
"In case of any inconvenience at the registrar's office, a person is free to contact me on my personal contact number 9910782302" Dubey continued.
The officer further informed that the Stamps and Registration department will remain open all seven days throughout March, keeping in mind the large number of registries in the month.
However, many homebuyers claimed that despite the introduction of the new scheme, there has been no relief from the long wait in serpentine queues at the registrar's office.
"Even after completing the online process of registration, buyers have to wait for hours at the registrar's office to get the last stage formalities completed. The office also lacks in providing the basic facilities to the visitors such as waiting area, proper drinking water or toilets" a homebuyer in Noida said.
