Priyanka Vadra discharged after dengue recovery

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Vadra was on Wednesday discharged from the city's Sir Ganga Ram hospital, nearly a week after she was admitted and diagnosed with dengue, the hospital authorities said.
"Priyanka Vadra, who was admitted under the care of Dr Arup Basu, Senior consultant, has been discharged from the hospital at around 4 pm after the recovery from dengue," Dr DS Rana, Chairman, Board of Management, Sir Ganga Ram hospital said. According to the doctors, she has been advised to rest at home and avoid physical exertion.
She was admitted in the hospital on August 23. Dr Arup Basu is also the doctor to Sonia Gandhi.
