Porsche accident: Car owned by company of BJP MLA's son

Six days after the incident occurred, Delhi Police on Saturday zeroed on the owner of the speeding Porsche which allegedly hit another car and then rammed into a traffic signal at Tughlak Road area in Delhi on August 5.
According to the police, the luxury car is owned by a company where Arjun Bhadana, son of BJP MLA Avtar Singh Bhadana, serves as a director.
The police are now probing whether Arjun Bhadana was behind the wheels and fled the spot after the accident with his friend.
Police said that the car was recovered and an FIR under Section 279 (rash and negligent driving) of the IPC was registered, after a complaint from an engineering student Mridul Tulsian.
Police have served a notice under Section 133 of the Motor Vehicle Act on the company, asking its officials to produce the driver who was driving the car at the time of the accident.
On the night of August 5, Tulsian was returning home with his friends in his Toyota Corolla after dinner at Pandara Road, when the accident occurred.
According to sources, around 10.20 pm, Tulsian had reached the traffic signal at Rajesh Pilot Marg and Prithviraj Road.
He claimed he was crossing the junction when the signal turned green.
Suddenly, a speeding car hit their vehicle from the left, following which Tulsian's car rammed into a road divider and then hit a traffic signal, before coming to a halt.
In the course of investigation, it came to light that after hitting Tulsian's car, the driver of the offending vehicle tried to escape with his car.
However, at the very next signal, the wheel of his Porche got punctured, forcing the driver and his friend to abandon the car and escape.
