Police to verify migrant workers at Noida

Amidst growing demands from the residents of various societies to get the police verifications of migrant workers who are living in various sectors and villages of Noida, a delegation of Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Association (FONRWA) met Superintendent of Police on Friday and requested him to initiate a drive for police verification of all such workers in the city.
The SP has assured that they will conduct verification of all the migrant workers who have been working in various houses and residential apartments.
The mob attack on Mahagun Moderne society in sector 78 has created a threat among the residents of other societies as well, due to which the residents of Mahagun, as well as four other nearby societies, have banned the entry of
Bangladeshi domestic help in the society and to do the domestic chores themselves instead.
"In order to bring transparency in the situation, we will conduct a police verification of all the migrant workers. A letter will be written to RWA's of various sectors and societies to prepare a list of these workers and get them verified," said Arun Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Noida.
