Police arrests three including woman in murder case

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Thursday arrested two men and woman for killing a person in Prashant Vihar area. The investigating agency said that the accused (gang) used to honeytrap their target before robbing them.

According to police, the accused were identified as Monu Yadav (34), Ajay (32) and a 25-year-old woman. The investigating agency said that on September 23, the body of one Deepak was found lying near Metro pillar 444. The deceased had a tattoo mark on his right arm. There were injuries on the deceased's head.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) SD Mishra said that during the investigation they nabbed all the accused. "Monty had recently shifted into a rented jhuggi in Sultanpuri area along with with both accused. Together they cooked up a scheme to rob victims on the pretext of sexual favours," said DCP Mishra.

Adding further, DCP stated that the woman pretending as sex worker used to entice victims and take them to an isolated spot. Later other accused used to rob the target. "Monty and Ajay had attacked Deepak with a heavy object after he refused the robbery bid," police said.
