Person shot at in Chhawla area by two bike-borne assailants

New Delhi: A 34-year-old man was shot at when he was on the way to court in Gurugram in Chhawla area of south west Delhi.
Police claimed that the accused told him that his tyre was punctured when the victim came out and the reason they suspect was the property dispute.
According to police, the incident came to light on 7:30-8am on Monday after they received a PCR call regarding a firing incident in the area of Chhawla police station, the team reached on spot.
During investigation, police found that one Chanderprakash (34), resident of Roshanpura(Najafgarh), was going to Gurugram Court in his Etios Car to attend a civil matter, when he crossed Nanakheri village and reached at crossing before the border (300-400 meters before Gurugram border).
At that point of time a motorcycle-borne duo came to his side and told that his car got punctured.
Police claimed that after the victim came to know about the puncture, he parked the car sideways to check which tyre got punctured. When he was checking the motorcycle borne duo came again and fired upon him and fled away.
The victim sustained a bullet injury in his right arm. He called one of his friends who got him admitted in a Gurugram hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Police sources claimed that during the investigation the reason which the police suspect can be property dispute as it came to fore that his mother has shared in ancestral property in Daultabad (Gurugram) and due to this he has the dispute with his maternal uncle.
A case was registered and police launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
