Over 500 private security guards trained to keep tabs on FIFA U-17 World Cup

-New Delhi: How to check the facial expression of the suspect to identify the movements of doubtful person was all in the special training of more than 500 private security guards who are guarding more than 20 gates of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN) where one of the biggest football events Under 17 FIFA World Cup kicked off on Friday.
Police sources told Millennium Post that for the event, more than 500 private guards who were from certified private agencies were given special training by the city police which started few months ago.
"During the period they were given training like Anti Sabotage check and other," said a police official.
He added that the FIFA event was very big so they were been trained for several hours.
According to police, the facial expression was also in the training which was how to identify the suspect through his or her facial expression and also through the movements.
For the powerful security arrangement, police also kept an eye on the terror activities around the world which includes the recent mass killing in Las Vegas which left more than 50 people dead and over 200 people injured. The lapses which resulted in the several incidents in the world was also kept in view during the security arrangement as the city police did not want to leave any stone unturned.
"We have made a powerful security arrangement everything has been taken care of," said a police official.
Apart from special training, the guards were given basic frisking teaching. A three-layer security which guards the whole stadium will be protecting more than 20,000 people.
No vehicular zone was there nearby the stadium. The whole south Delhi has been turned into a fortress with several pickets been deployed in the district.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ishwar Singh told this newspaper that they have heightened the security police officials have been deployed at several places and they are on alert. Police sources claimed that from parks to buildings and nearby area, several policemen have been deployed to keep a watch. Apart from 16 police stations in south Delhi, police personnel from other 12 districts have been marking the security arrangements.
Police sources told that for the event a wireless network in which only calls related to the event will be there.
"No other calls will come in that frequency and a wireless set will be the senior officials involved in the world cup arrangement," said a police source.
