One member of Aloo gang held over murders, burglaries

The Gurugram Police crime branch on Thursday night arrested a member of a Aloo gang, identified as Kamal or Palti, who are known to conduct various murders and burglaries in the neighbouring region of Rewari.
The police have recovered two country-made pistols and 12 live cartridges from Kamal.
According to the police, Kamal confessed of being involved in various crimes like with his colleagues. He also admitted that he was in Gurugram to kill a member from the rival Jhota gang that has been operating in Gurugram.
Kamal was arrested near a village at Sohna where he went to commit a recce for carrying out his next crime.
Based on a tip-off, a team of crime branch police personnel had laid a trap to arrest him in which they were ultimately successful. Even though he was carrying weapons with him, there was no gunshots fired during the process of his arrest.
"The arrest of Kamal is a huge breakthrough for Gurugram as well as Rewari police," said a police officer.
