One dead, another injured in 2 separate accidents

In two separate accidents, one person had died in Shakarpur area, while another got seriously injured in Vasant Kunj in Delhi on Thursday.

In a fatal accident, a person named Sarfaraz, 30, was crushed to death by a speeding DTC bus number 469.

"It seems the bus was overspeeding and hit the bike. He suffered grevious injuries and died on the spot," said a police officer.

The incident was reported at around 2 pm on Thursday when Sarfaraz, a resident of New Mustafabad was going to work and was passing through Shakarpur. The driver of the bus is absconding.

In another incident, 40-year-old Rajkumar got seriously injured when his motorbike was hit by a speeding Ritz car near Vasant Kunj.

The impact of the accident was so much that the biker was flown several feets high in the air. Later, he was rushed to the hospital where is was admitted with grevious injuries in spine and leg.
