On New Year eve, woman shot by political leader
New Delhi: On New Year eve, a 42-year-old woman suffered gunshot injury fired by a political leader from Bihar in South Delhi's farmhouse on Monday. Police claimed that investigation is going on in the case. The victim is receiving treatment in hospital.
Police claimed that on Monday night around 1 am, they received information from the hospital in Vasant Kunj about the gunshot injury to a 42-year-old woman in her head. "She is found unconscious at the hospital," police said.
Her husband has given the complaint that they were in a farmhouse on Monday night to celebrate New Wear along with many other friends. "Around 12 am, there were 2-3 rounds fired by the leader. Immediately, he noticed that her wife fell down. When checked, he found her bleeding," police said.
A case under sections 307 , 201 and 34 of Indian Penal Code and arms act has been registered against the leader and others.
The investigating agency further claimed that he lives there with his family in the farmhouse. Further Investigation is going on. "Lady is alive and under treatment. Accused is the political leader and also an eX-MLA from the political party," police said adding that no arrest has been made in the case.
