Ola cabbie found dead inside taxi in Noida

Noida: An Ola cab driver was found dead inside his taxi in Sector 63, Noida early Wednesday morning, said police.
"Multiple injury marks resembles that the victim has been strangulated to death by someone," said police officials.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Kumar, a native of Gulaothi area in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh.
He lived with his family in Pratap Vihar area of Ghaziabad and worked as a cab driver with the Gurugram-based IT company. According to police, the incident was reported at around 5am.
The security guards deployed at building number D-199 in Sector 63 informed police that a suspicious vehicle was parked outside their building.
Upon reaching the spot, the victim was found lying dead on the back seat of the car.
"Following the complaint from victim's relatives, a case under IPC sections 302 and 201 in Noida phase 3 police station was registered. The body has been recovered and sent for the post mortem. We are investigating the case covering all the possible angles. Prima facie investigations have revealed that he was murdered over personal enmity," said Rajiv Kumar Singh, circle officer, Noida.
However, victim's family members in their complaint alleged his wife's family members behind the murder.
"Ajay and Devika married this year. Her family members didn't allow her to live with Ajay as they were against their marriage and wanted her to marry some other person. Very often they were giving life threats to Ajay. Also, couple of days before Ajay had an argument with them over phone following which they threatened to kill him," said Arvind, deceased's brother.
