Now, you can locate your towed vehicle through newly launched 'Tatpar' App

New Delhi: If you parked your vehicle in a no parking zone and returned to find no trace of it, its probably towed away, but where? What followed was frantic calls to family and friends to know if the vehicle was stolen or towed away. That the question which seems mostrelevant at that time. Now Delhi Police has launched an Application called 'Tatpar' which brings various Delhi police services under one umbrella.

Yes, including the information on your towed away vehicle. Also, you would be knowing your traffic inspecter much easily now as the app has a dedicated feature ' know your Traffic Inspector' plus the 'Towed vehicle PIT location' which seems to be the most beneficial feature of all in the application.

The one touch application was launched on 18th September, 2019, in a well attended function at the India Gate Lawn, by Lt. Governor, Delhi Anil Baijal One-Touch App, developed by the Delhi Police, in the presence of Amulya Patnaik, Commissioner of Police, and other senior government and police officials. Using the latest technological tools of Geo-Informatics, for the first time, a citizen can navigate to his nearest Police Station, Traffic Pit and Prepaid Taxi Booth by using "TATPAR".

On a single touch, the user will be provided with the directions as well as the complete contact details of the concerned service provider like the SHO of a Police Station or the In-charge of the Traffic Pit.

"Over the last three years or so, various Units of Delhi Police had developed web and mobile-based applications to facilitate delivery of citizen-centric services. These stand-alone applications, however, were required to be installed separately by the intending user, 'Tatpar' consolidates all in one," said a senior Police officer.

"TATPAR" – literally signifying ever-readiness to respond - amalgamates all the websites and mobile applications of Delhi Police, and over 50 services can now be accessed with a single touch.
