Now get SDMC construction permits via Twitter, FB

New Delhi: In order to provide a hassle-free environment to the applicants who come for construction permits in the three MCDs, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has introduced Facebook and Twitter accounts in Ease of Doing Business application.
The Corporation is the nodal agency for Ease of Doing Business in respect of construction permit for the three MCDs.
Twitter handle-@EoDB_MCD and Facebook page-eodbmcd are the two effective modes for two-way communication between the Building Department of MCDs and the applicants. Further, the new additions will also prove to be useful to professional architects empanelled with the MCDs.
The two new tools will help in the dissemination of latest instructions, information, changes in the existing procedure. It will also feature achievements, important related activities and submission and suggestions of anomalies. The two soical media pages will also handle obstacles for making the present App more useful and purposeful.
SDMC Commissioner PK Goel said that the new additions of twitter handle and facebook page are in tune with the concept of 'Digital India'.
