Now donate Rs 1.11 lakh you promised, AAP dares Tiwari

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has dared Delhi state BJP President Manoj Tiwari to come good on his promise of donating Rs 1.11 lakh to the AAP if the Delhi government passed the proposal to construct Phase IV of the Delhi Metro.

In October, Tiwari had dared the Delhi government to pass the project. If they did, he claimed, he would donate the amount to the AAP. "We hope Manoj Tiwari Ji will not turn his promise into a jumla (false promise) like the BJP and Narendra Modi Ji. Posted below is a link, using which you can donate money (to the Aam Aadmi Party). By donating, you will not only fulfil your promise but also become a contributor to Digital India," the official AAP page tweeted in Hindi, along with a link to the donation portal.

The AAP government on Wednesday approved the much-awaited Phase-IV project of the Delhi Metro, which Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said would boost public transport and reduce pollution. In a first, the Delhi government has also decided to construct elevated roads under three metro corridors — Rithala-Bawana-Narela, Janakpuri West-R K Ashram and Mukundpur-Maujpur — of the total six under the 103-km-long Phase IV.
