Notorious 'Ichhaadaari Baba' arrested for duping woman

NEW DELHI: A man, infamously known as Icchadhari Baba, was arrested after a complaint was filed by a woman stating she was duped by him and his women associates on the pretext of providing government job.
The man was earlier once arrested for running a sex racket in 2010, involving high profile air hostess and students in Saket and was booked under MACOCA.
The woman, resident of Rohini, said she was cheated as the Baba promised her and her brother-in-law of jobs in IRCTC.
Delhi police then formed a team and put the mobile numbers of a woman (female accomplice of Baba ) under scaner and found that she was in touch with a man who was out on bail, identified as Shiv Murti Diwedi.
The cops also found that he had floated a website. A decoy customer was sent and a deal stuck after which the police nabbed him and six women accomplices.
"The accussed was apprehended on August 25 in the above case and also interrogated, who admitted his guilt and disclosed that after coming out of jail on bail, he would earn his bread and butter and would arrange money to contest his case of MACOCA by inducing, cheating the innocent and unemployed youths with the help of Kankna Deb, a resident of Dwarka," said Romil Baaniya, DCP South East.
On his instance, Deb was also arrested from Amar Colony.
Lots of incriminating material was also found from their possession, including fake appointment letters, 34 documents, receipt on the letter pad papers pravidhi manpower for recruitment of taking fee Rs 1 lakh per candidate (from Shiva house).
The baba was earlier held seven years ago after the police received a complaint regarding his activities of the racket.
