Northern Railway to construct five low height subways

NEW DELHI: In order to strengthen the infrastructure of railway, the Delhi Division of Northern Railway shall take three traffic blocks for construction of five low height subways between Mansurpur-Jarauda Nara, Telheribuzurg-Nagal, Muzaffarnagar-Bamanheri and Deoband-Rohanakalan stations on Ghaziabad-Meerut City-Saharanpur section.
Consequently, a number of trains would be cancelled/partially cancelled and/or diverted/regulated.
Among the major trains that will be cancelled are 14522/14521 Delhi-Ambala-Delhi Intercity Express, 64559 Delhi-Saharnpur passenger and 54473 New Delhi-Saharnpur passenger.
Further, 14681 New Delhi-Jalandhar City Inter City and 12055 New Delhi-Dehradun Janshatabdi Express trains shall be diverted to run via New Delhi, Tilak Bridge, Shamli, Tapri.
The journey of these trains have been cancelled/diverted on March 6, 13 and 20.
