Noida STF arrests two wanted criminals
Greater Noida: Noida special task force (STF) team has arrested two rewarded criminals carrying bounty of Rs 10,000 each on their head from Ecotech-I area of Greater Noida. Police officials said that the accused are members of dreaded criminal Sunder Bhati's gang and were wanted in a number incidents of loot, attempt to murder and other heinous crimes.
According to police, the arrested accused have been identified as Rohit Kumar (24), a resident of Ghangola village in Greater Noida and Mohit (20), a resident of Khanpur village. Cops said that Rohit is a graduate in business management while Mohit is class eleventh pass.
"Acting on a tip-off, the arrest was made from OPPO mobile manufacturing plant in Ecotech-I police station area of Greater Noida on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. Both the accused are members of Sunder Bhati and Anil Bhati gang and were wanted in several cases of heinous crimes," said R K Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, STF.
The officer further said that the accused were wanted in the robbery and attempt to murder case where they allegedly opening fire at the guard deployed at OPPO mobile manufacturing plant during a robbery attempt in Ecotech-I area of Greater Noida.
