Noida: Expressing solidarity with the Amrapali home buyers who have been staging an indefinite protest outside real estate giant builder's office in Sector 62, the MLA of Noida Pankaj Singh visited Amrapali protest site and interacted with aggrieved buyers on Friday.
The MLA said that the buyer and builder's issue is very old and the former government's apathy has escalated this to present scale. However, he assured that the current regime is dedicated to preserve rights of people and he will raise this issue in state assembly as well.
"Our government is focused to provide all the possible help to the home buyers. We have also directed the authorities to keep their issues on top priority. I will raise their concern in the state assembly. The government has also formed to take care of all the actions related to involvement of other companies to take over the project and finalizing the auditors and other actions," said Singh.
Home buyers of Amrapali Group are actually perplexed after the Jaypee group declared itself insolvent. In the wake of this, scores of investors have been leading round the clock indefinite protest outside the builder's office.
"The MLA was asking us to end the protest as we are working day in and day out but we clearly said that this protest will not end unless we see immediate action on ground," said a protester.
