Noida authority signs MoU with HCL technology for Clean and Green Noida

Noida: The Noida Authority on Monday has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL technologies limited which is aimed at the transformation of Noida city by effective implementation of solid waste management program and providing technological, managerial and IT assistance in various development projects of the authority which are focused on Clean and Green Noida.

As per Noida authority officials, the MoU signed will be valid for next three years. The Noida authority will bear the cost for their various contracts, however, the operations, training, maintenance, monitoring and implementation in these projects will be done by HCL technology.

"The HCL technology limited with work in corroboration with Noida authority and will help to optimise our resources to use them in the best possible way.

This coordination will ensure endeavour towards the development of Noida when corporate like HCL, who have a leadership in technology and have vast experience in community development, will work along with the government" said Alok Tandon, CCEO, Noida Authority.

Tandon further said that the IT company will also provide training to their sanitation workers in order to enhance their capabilities.

"Under capacity building program, which is also a part of the MoU, the HCL company will provide training to our sanitation workers who works for solid waste collection and in maintaining cleanliness in the city.

This will also create an awareness in the citizens towards solid waste management and will inform them about various programs run by the authority. With this MoU signed, we hope and believe to have a much cleaner and greener Noida within the next three years," added

The MoU was signed between R K Mishra, ACEO Noida authority and Navpreet Kaur, director of HCL technology limited in presence of senior authority officials.

Addressing a press conference Navpreet Kaur said, "HCL shares strong relationship with this city as it was established here 42 years back. We believe that maximum impact can be made when we work in unison. We are happy to partner with noida authority for implementation of Project "Clean Noida". We will certainly make impact in sold waste management

program".
