Noida Authority expedites development of industrial plots

Noida: Ahead of the grand Investor's Summit in Uttar Pradesh on February 21 and 22 in Lucknow, the Noida Authority has expedited development of industrial plots above five acres, in order to attract big players of the industrial sector.
According to officials, companies such as TCS, Paytm, Sony among others have applied for these plots through the open end scheme.
The authority will allot plots to these applicants by February 15, following which an MoU will be signed with the company at the investors meet.
The Uttar Pradesh government has set a target to sign memorandums of understanding (MoU) for investment worth Rs 2 lakh crore at the investor's meet.
"Sector 155 and 156 have been developed as industrial sectors with an investment of over Rs 30 crores. Plots of bigger sizes have also been launched to attract big companies. The civil work will be completed and plots will be allotted to companies wherein they can set up their plants," said a Noida Authority official .
