Noida authority allots plot for industrial use
Noida: The Noida authority on Tuesday organised an event for the allotment of Industrial Plots under Industrial plots Scheme-2018 at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts and allotted plots of varied sizes in different sectors around the Noida city.
Officials of Noida authority said that around 17 plots of size 984 square meters to 10, 000 square meters were allotted through a draw system.
A majority of these plots are located in sector 155 of Noida, which is dedicated industrial area carved out by the authority, along the Noida-Greater Noida
Expressway.
The authority had offered a total of 9 plots of size 984 square metres area to 10, 000 square meters area for General Applicants, 4 plots of 1, 000 sqm area for start-up category, 5 plots of 2480 sqm to 10, 000 sqm which were reserved for industrialists were allotted. One plot of 6060.80 sqm in sector 67 will be allotted later.
"We have allotted a total of 17 plots to successful applicants through a lucky draw system."
"This will bring up several medium and large scale industries while an opportunity for setting up an start-up can also be availed though this. Rest of the plot will be allotted later through an open-ended process," a senior officer of Noida Authority said.
The authority is selling these plots of varied areas at the rate of Rs13,490 per square metre for phase-III.
"We will start giving possession of the 17 allotted plots once the applicants complete required formalities," the officer added.
