No chewing tobacco, pan masala while on duty, orders YEIDA CEO

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has ordered the officials to make certain developments in the Citizen Charter documents in order to provide the allottees more detailed information.

Following the orders from the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,the CEO has also ordered to remove all the stains of tobacco and pan masala from the walls of the authority by Friday. He has also asked the officials not to chew Pan Masala and Tobacco during duty hours.

"Though the Citizen Charter and mobile application are functional in the authority, there is a need to make some modifications in the citizen charter system under which we will maintain the details of every project and will set the time limit for them. I have insisted the officials to perform the work within the mentioned time limit," said Arunvir Singh, CEO, YEIDA.

Apart from this, the CEO has welcomed the decision taken by the newly Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath to ban chewing of Pan Masala and Tobacco by the government officials.
"We have asked the officials not to chew pan masala and tobacco during duty hours. The betel stains on the walls of the authority will be cleared and they will be repainted by Friday. We have requested all to maintain cleanliness in the workplace. Signboard warnings will be placed on all soon after they get cleaned up. An eye will also be kept on the outsiders who consume pan and tobacco within the premises," added Singh.
