NMRC to lease out Aqua line metro for photography and film shooting

Noida: Now movies, documentaries and photo shoots can be done at newly constructed Aqua metro line from Noida to Greater Noida as the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has allowed permission for the same.

The board has formulated a policy for hiring of NMRC premises which include Hiring of Metro Stations, Metro Trains, Metro Depot and any other premises under the control of NMRC for this purpose.

As per NMRC officials, any Reputed Production Houses, Event Management Company, show organisers, Film producer & Exhibitor & Branding company may apply for hiring of the premises for shooting purposes.

"The hiring of premises will be done on ' First Come First Serve ' basis," said NMRC official.

"Metro premises under the control of NMRC can now be used for the shooting of films,audio video documentaries, TV commercials etc. on commercial basis. A fixed charge per hour along with security deposit is needed to be paid in lieu of hiring the premises."

"We have also issued certain guidelines which are stringent to be followed while hiring the area," said P D Upadhyay, Executive Director, NMRC.

The rates and charges on hourly basis are variable which depends on the area hired.

"The area inside train of four coaches of inside any metro station is to be used, a fees of Rs 50, 000 along with Rs 1 lakhs as refundable security is to be paid. If both Station and trains are being used, Rs 75 along with Rs 1.5 lakhs security deposit is needed to be paid."

"While Rs 3 lakhs fees per hour along with Rs 6 lakhs refundable amount is needed to be paid if depot and other premises are being used," added Upadhyay.

The officer further said that a person must go through terms and conditions which are mentioned on our website before applying to hire the premises.
