DOUBLE MURDER :Bizmen brothers killed in office, needle of suspicion towards servants

In a shocking incident, two traders who were also brothers in their late 50s have been found brutally murdered at their office in Mori Gate area of North Delhi.

The brothers have been identified as Rajkumar Manchanda and Devender Manchanda. They were brutally stabbed and their throats slit and their bodies were found lying on the second floor of the three-storeyed building they owned in Dorawali Gali, Ram Bazar in Mori Gate.

"We saw the bodies in a pool of blood. Their throats have been slit and one sharp pointed needle like knife used for cutting ice was pierced into one of the body's head. It was a horrific sight," Said Niranjan, president automobile market association Mori Gate. The brothers had an automobile business at Mori Gate.

The incident came to light when in the evening repeated calls from their family who stay in Rohini went unanswered. The family which was preparing for some religious function got suspicious when neither of the two brothers picked up calls or reverted. Soon, they reached the office at Mori Gate and found the doors and shutters locked.

They gave calls from outside and could hear the phons ringing. Soon, they felt fishy and broke open the door with the help of locals in the area.

As they entered the second floor office, they saw both Rajkumar and Devender Manchanda in a pool of blood and their throats slit.

The police were informed and soon the senior police officials rushed to the spot and secured the crime scene. The crime team also visited and took fingerprints from the area. Cops suspect an insider's hand in the double murder.

"Two of the four servants are missing from the premises. We have formedseveral teams to arrest the accused," said Jatin Narwal, DCP (North).
The cops are also collecting the CCTV footages from nearby shops to get some leads in the case.
