NDMC holds second workshop on 'Swachhta Survekshan'

NEW DELHI: The technology has become a very important tool in respect of management of the municipal wastes in urban areas in a mechanized way. In order to keep the New Delhi area clean, the NDMC had installed underground modern dustbins across 12 locations each having capacity of 2200 kg. This has been informed by the Chairman, New Delhi Municipal Council, Naresh Kumar, while speaking at the second workshop on Swachhta Survekshan organized at NDMC Headquarters at Convention Centre in New Delhi on Saturday.

Earlier, the NDMC launched a Public Bicycle Share (PBS) service in order to bridge the gap of the last-mile-connectivity and reduce pollution.

The PBS service can be availed by using an NDMC mobile App –NDMC-311 –between 6 am and 10 am.
