With increasing penetration of EVs,the local emission of pollutants is also expected to reduce, leading to cleaner air and several public health benefits," said Maheshwari.

A senior EESL officer informed that the work will begin with the installation of one station near Electronic City metro station and another at H block market in Sector 63 within the next 10 days.
